Listeners may remember Katy talking about some irregular periods that, at first, were thought to be pandemic stress and hormone related issues. What she didn't share was that for over a year she's silently been dealing with more than just some inconveniently heavy periods. The real culprit was a fibroid, a large fibroid that wreaked havoc on her physically and mentally.
